Fri, Jan 4 final day to work on advertising project/ Weight Contest

From Ms. Proctor, the school nurse:
I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday, and are looking forward to a very HEALTHY and Prosperous New Year. Remember Health is Wealth…..
It's that time of year again; time to put some thought and reflection into our lives to encourage health and wellbeing.  “Eat well, live well” as the saying goes.   I have again been working on the diet program for any willing student, and have found many who have shown interest already. I continue to try new methods, and keep things fun, while also trying to build some lifelong healthy eating habits along the way.  This year, I am going for a team approach to add some competition.  I will break the kids up into groups of 4.  Prizes will be given for team who loses the most, and for individual who loses the most. The dietician who I have worked with last year, is also willing to assist with the education piece.  I look forward to receiving as many students as possible.  Weights are all Confidential…
Students can contact Jonelle or myself, at any time in the Nurses Office beginning January.   My plan is to kick off the program February 1st and end April 1st.

Journalism Material: remember all writing for the advertising project is due on Monday. This has nothing to do with your sharing your advertisement.
Make sure you are specific with your demographics, that is who is your target audience. If it's teens, are we looking at urban, suburban or rural? Male or female? A particular interest?
As well, explain how your persuasive technique works precisely with your commerical. Cite the dialogue or spokesperson. Explain why you used a certain production technique, such a music or setting.
